Baboon

Baboons are large Old World monkeys found in Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. They typically have large bodies, pronounced muzzles, strong canine teeth, and tough ischial callosities (sitting pads). Baboons are omnivorous, with diets including fruits, seeds, roots, insects, bird eggs, small mammals, and sometimes even young antelopes. They are highly social animals, living in large, complex social structures called 'troops' or 'bands,' often led by one or more dominant males. Baboons adapt to a variety of habitats, including savannas, rocky hills, and coastlines.
