Dog
Dogs are among the earliest domesticated animals, belonging to the family Canidae. They are renowned for their loyalty, friendliness, and diverse breeds. Dogs are widely used as companion animals, working dogs (such as herding dogs, search and rescue dogs, guide dogs), and police dogs. They are omnivores, though their digestive systems lean more towards carnivory. Dogs possess keen senses of smell and hearing and communicate effectively through barking, whining, and body language. Breeds vary enormously, from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Great Danes, differing in appearance, size, and temperament. Dogs play significant roles in human society.
