Flamingo

Flamingos are large wading birds belonging to the family Phoenicopteridae, recognized by their vibrant pink or reddish plumage, long, curved necks, long legs, and distinctive downward-bending bills. They inhabit warm waters worldwide, such as shallow lakes, lagoons, and mangrove swamps. Their coloration comes from carotenoid pigments in their diet, which consists mainly of blue-green algae, brine shrimp, and plankton. They use their specialized bills to filter food from the water or mud. Flamingos typically live in large flocks, creating spectacular visual displays.
