Leopard

Leopards are medium to large-sized felids, recognized by their distinctive coat patterns of black spots (spotted leopards) or uniformly black fur (black panthers). They have a wide distribution across various habitats in Africa and Asia, including forests, grasslands, shrublands, and mountains. Leopards are opportunistic predators, known for their stealthy nature and primarily nocturnal activity. They are adept climbers, often dragging their prey (such as deer, antelope, rodents) into trees to keep it safe from other carnivores. Leopards are typically solitary animals.
