Toad
Toads are amphibians closely related to frogs, both belonging to the order Anura. Unlike the smooth skin of frogs, toads typically have dry, bumpy, warty skin and relatively shorter hind legs, making them better suited for crawling than jumping. They are widely distributed and can tolerate drier environments, often found in gardens, fields, and forest floors. Toads share a similar diet with frogs, primarily feeding on insects, worms, and slugs. Many toads possess parotoid glands behind their eyes that can secrete toxins as a defense mechanism.
