Chicken
Chickens are domesticated fowl belonging to the order Galliformes. They are one of the most numerous bird species globally, widely raised for their eggs and meat. Chickens are found worldwide and are highly adaptable, surviving in a variety of environments. They are omnivores, feeding primarily on seeds, grains, insects, worms, and vegetables. Chickens exhibit a complex social hierarchy known as a 'pecking order.' Roosters are typically larger than hens, with more colorful plumage and larger combs. Chickens communicate through a variety of clucking and crowing sounds.
