Chinchilla
Chinchillas are rodents native to the high-altitude Andes Mountains of South America, belonging to the family Chinchillidae. They are renowned for their exceptionally soft, dense fur, large ears, and long tails. Chinchillas are nocturnal animals, primarily feeding on grasses, leaves, bark, and seeds. To maintain the health of their fur, they require regular dust baths. Chinchillas are gentle and curious, widely kept as pets. Their fur was heavily hunted for luxury, leading them to the brink of extinction, but they are now protected.
