Crocodile

Crocodiles are large, semi-aquatic reptiles belonging to the order Crocodilia. They possess robust bodies, thick scaly skin, powerful jaws, and formidable teeth. Crocodiles are found in tropical regions of Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Australia, primarily inhabiting rivers, lakes, swamps, and estuaries. They are carnivores, preying on a variety of animals including fish, birds, and mammals. Crocodiles are opportunistic ambush predators, capable of moving both in water and on land. Their lower jaw structure differs slightly from alligators, with teeth visible when the mouth is closed.
