Falcon

Falcon

Falcons are medium-sized birds of prey renowned for their incredible flight speed and agility. The Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal on Earth, capable of diving at speeds exceeding 320 km/h. Falcons possess streamlined bodies, pointed wings, and exceptional vision. They are distributed across all continents except Antarctica, inhabiting environments from deserts to tundra. Falcons are apex predators that primarily hunt other birds in flight, also preying on small mammals and insects. Unlike eagles, falcons kill prey with their beaks rather than their talons. Famous species include the Peregrine Falcon, Kestrel, and American Kestrel.
