Frog
Frogs are amphibians belonging to the order Anura. They typically have smooth, moist skin, powerful hind legs adapted for jumping and swimming, and large, prominent eyes. Frogs are found worldwide (except Antarctica), inhabiting various moist environments such as ponds, rivers, lakes, and rainforests. They are carnivores, feeding primarily on insects, spiders, worms, and other small invertebrates. Frogs undergo metamorphosis, transforming from an aquatic tadpole stage into their terrestrial or semi-aquatic adult form.
