Hamster

Hamsters are small rodents belonging to the subfamily Cricetinae, known for their short tails, cheek pouches (used for storing food), and nocturnal habits. Native to parts of Syria, Europe, and Asia, they have become popular pets. Hamsters primarily feed on seeds, grains, fruits, and vegetables. They are most active at night, resting in their nests during the day. Hamsters are known for running on wheels and hoarding food in their cages. Different hamster species vary in size and temperament, with Syrian hamsters (golden hamsters) typically being solitary.
