Ladybug

Ladybugs, also known as ladybirds or ladybeetles, are small, round or oval-shaped beetles belonging to the family Coccinellidae. They are most commonly recognized by their brightly colored elytra (usually red or yellow) marked with black spots, which often serve as aposematic (warning) coloration against predators. Ladybugs are found worldwide and are important beneficial insects, as they feed voraciously on agricultural pests like aphids and scale insects. They play a crucial predatory role in ecosystems.
