
Monkey
Monkeys are primates belonging to the order Primates. They typically possess longer limbs, dexterous hands and feet, and (in most species) a long tail. Monkeys are widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions, inhabiting forests, grasslands, and mountains. Their diets are varied, including fruits, leaves, seeds, insects, and bird eggs. Monkeys are social animals, usually living in complex social groups with high levels of intelligence and communication. They are close relatives of humans.
