Parrot

Parrots are colorful birds characterized by curved beaks, zygodactyl feet (four toes, two facing forward and two backward), and exceptional intelligence. They are distributed across tropical and subtropical regions, including Central and South America, Australasia, and Asia. Parrots feed on seeds, nuts, fruits, nectar, and pollen. Many species possess the ability to mimic human speech, due to their highly developed social brains. Parrots are typically social animals that live in noisy flocks. Famous species include macaws, budgerigars, cockatoos, and African grey parrots.
