Pelican
Pelicans are large water birds belonging to the family Pelecanidae, distinguished by their enormous throat pouches, which are used to scoop up water and fish while hunting. They are found in warm regions around the world, inhabiting coasts, lakes, and rivers. Pelicans are powerful flyers and often migrate long distances in V-formations. They primarily feed on fish, often hunting cooperatively by driving schools of fish into shallows before scooping them up with their pouches. Pelicans typically live in colonies and are large, conspicuous birds.
