Seagull

Seagull

Seagulls, or gulls, are medium to large seabirds belonging to the family Laridae. They are characterized by their typically grey-and-white or black-and-white plumage, strong bills, and common presence along coastlines. Gulls are found globally along coastlines, inland waters, and in urban areas. They are opportunistic omnivores, feeding on fish, crustaceans, cephalopods, insects, bird eggs, carrion, and even discarded human food. Gulls are excellent flyers, adept at using air currents. They usually live in flocks and are known for their noisy calls.
