Spider
Spiders are arachnids belonging to the order Araneae. They typically have eight legs, two body segments (cephalothorax and abdomen), and a pair of chelicerae (mouthparts used for capturing prey). Spiders are found globally in almost all terrestrial environments. Most spiders build webs to catch prey, but many species are active or ambush predators. Their diet is primarily carnivorous, consisting of insects and other small animals. Spider venom is used to paralyze prey, and some species are venomous to humans.
